Oficio is a boutique co-working and shared office business. It's second location on Boston's Newbury Street consists of private offices, and dedicated desks, workstations, and cubicles in addition to meeting and event rooms. Since the buildings are long row houses, there are only windows in the front and the rear of the building, and to allow for the maximum number of offices to have access to natural light, most offices are enclosed by walls of clear glass. This also allows to maintain an openness to the space to foster a communal aspect to the space without isolating people from others. Warm materials such as wood, and darker colors are utilized to balance the overall feel of the space to create a warm, comforting environment.
