This modern, minimalist family vacation home is nestled on a mountainside overlooking the village of Saranac Lake, in the heart of the Adirondacks.

The design concept features two intersecting rectangular volumes. The upper volume is rotated 90 degrees, allowing its elongated side to capture sweeping views of the distant mountains and lake. The ground floor, accessible through the main entry, includes two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a spacious design and art studio. Ascending to the upper level reveals an open kitchen, dining, and living area, all oriented to maximize the expansive southern and western views toward the mountains and Lake Colby. This level also includes two additional bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as a rooftop terrace above the studio, perfect for taking in the distant vistas.
